Power BI Specialist – Data & Business Intelligence

Our client is seeking a professional to join their business intelligence team to transform raw data into reliable, understandable, and actionable insights. This role focuses on building reporting solutions and automating data streams to support strategic decision-making across management and operational teams.

• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
• Develop Power Query and SQL transformations to streamline data processing.
• Automate data flows and reporting processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Optimize data models and DAX measures focusing on performance and relationship design.
• Resolve operational BI issues and provide technical support to the organization.
• Coach and guide stakeholders to promote best practices in data visualization.

• You bring 3+ years of experience in Power BI development, specifically with Power BI Desktop, Service, and Power Query.
• You possess advanced expertise in DAX, including measure writing, optimization, and context logic.
• You have experience with ETL processes and automation using Power Automate, Dataflows, or similar tools.
• You have knowledge of star, snowflake, and dimensional data modeling.
• You bring proficiency in SQL and experience with data pipelines such as Azure Data Factory or Synapse.
• You're familiar with Power BI governance, security, version control, and deployment workflows.
• You have advanced proficiency in Excel.
• You possess a master’s degree level of thinking or equivalent through professional experience.
• You're proactive, autonomous, and have a hands-on approach to technical challenges.

Nice to Haves

• Possession of a PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst certification.
• Experience with Power Apps and the broader Power Platform.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure tooling, or Data Lakes.
• Previous experience leading automation projects.
