Platform Engineer – Azure & AI Foundry

Our client, a leading organization in the biopharmaceutical sector, is looking for a technical owner to drive the evolution of their enterprise AI and agentic platform. The role focuses on coordinating platform architecture, exploring new cloud capabilities, and ensuring seamless integration across cross-functional infrastructure teams.

• Lead the technical architecture and coordination for the internal AI platform based on Azure AI services.
• Explore and prototype new features within Azure AI Foundry to validate technical solutions and integration patterns.
• Define and document platform architecture, network topology, and technical decision records.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and DevOps teams to align the platform roadmap and remove technical blockers.
• Manage the technical backlog while ensuring end-to-end consistency across infrastructure implementations.
• Support CI/CD automation and the development of internal developer tooling.

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Hands-on experience with the Azure platform within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, Routing, Firewalls, and Private Endpoints.
• Deep knowledge of identity and access management using Entra ID or Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Proficiency in CI/CD methodologies using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• General understanding of Azure API Management (APIM).
• Proactive and autonomous with a strong problem-solving mindset and stakeholder management skills.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Search.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Boomi, or LLM-based applications.
• Knowledge of architecture documentation and Architecture Decision Records (ADR).
• Exposure to AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
• Active knowledge of French or Dutch.
