Project Leader – Signalling Systems & Microservices

Our client, a leading organization in the transport infrastructure sector, is seeking a Project Leader to drive the development of a signalling design platform. The role involves managing microservices-based architectures and ICT packages within a safety-critical environment while ensuring alignment between technical teams and business objectives.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of analysts, developers, and testers to ensure project delivery within scope.
• Monitor project budget, planning, and activities while reporting progress and incidents to stakeholders.
• Organize steering committees and gate meetings to ensure effective project governance.
• Manage external vendor relationships, including release management and the integration of infrastructure and architecture components.
• Maintain technical documentation and asset management records in the CMDB.
• Contribute to continuous improvement processes in alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and EN 50.128 standards.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure critical system stability.

• You have 5+ years of experience in project management following PMI, PMBOK, or PRINCE2 methodologies.
• You bring 5+ years of experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
• You possess 2+ years of experience with ITIL processes and NIS cybersecurity standards.
• You have 2+ years of experience utilizing JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• You are proactive, structured, and possess an Agile mindset.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with a C2 level, and possess B2 level proficiency in English and either French or Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with the SAFe framework.
• Basic knowledge of Java development or experience leading Java-based projects.
• Foundational knowledge of infrastructure platforms such as Linux or Windows and databases.
• Familiarity with SharePoint and Office tools.
