Senior Business Analyst – Digital & Mobile Applications

Our client, a leading public transport operator, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead the functional redesign of a complex mobile application. This role serves as a strategic pivot between business requirements, user experience design, and technical delivery teams to ensure a seamless digital evolution.

• Define and structure comprehensive user journeys and functional mapping for mobile platforms.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to define screen behaviors, error states, and loading scenarios.
• Maintain and prioritize a clear product backlog including epics and technical dependencies.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability between business needs, design assets, and development tasks.
• Support QA and UAT teams by providing functional clarity and validating test scenarios.

• 8+ years experience in functional analysis and delivery within Digital and Mobile environments.
• 8+ years experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies for backlog management.
• 5+ years collaborating with UX/UI teams using tools like Figma, Miro, or FigJam.
• 5+ years expertise in Jira and Confluence for documentation and requirement tracking.
• 3+ years experience with User Journeys, Wireflows, and Screen Inventory mapping.
• You possess a strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail for edge cases and technical constraints.
• You bring experience in facilitating workshops and vulgarizing complex technical subjects for diverse stakeholders.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch with professional proficiency in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in the public transport sector or with real-time tracking applications.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (PMR) and Design Systems.
• Familiarity with APIs, ServiceNow, or SharePoint.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance product delivery processes.
