PowerBuilder & .NET Developer – Utility Infrastructure Systems

Our client, a major organization in the utility and infrastructure sector, is seeking a developer to program administrative technical applications. The role focuses on developing, testing, and documenting application code based on technical and functional specifications while supporting maintenance and user assistance.

• Write, test, and document code within the development environment according to technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT standards, development guidelines, and change management processes.
• Provide technical advice to analysts and designers regarding the feasibility of specific requests.
• Deliver accurate workload estimates and handle technical tickets within the incident management framework.
• Collaborate actively within an Agile team and contribute to knowledge sharing across the ICT community.
• Conduct thorough quality control through testing and documentation of all implemented features.

• 7+ years of experience with PowerBuilder development.
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle database and Oracle PL/SQL.
• 5+ years of experience in developing .NET based applications using Visual Studio 2022.
• 5+ years of experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• 5+ years of experience working with XML.
• You possess experience with Unit Testing and Agile development methodologies.
• You bring an analytical mindset and a high degree of accuracy in your technical work.
• You're proactive, communicative, and able to work both independently and in a team.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level with functional knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Jira.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Willingness to thoroughly learn specific internal applications and business processes.
