Service Manager – IT Infrastructure & Vendor Management

Our client, a prominent organization in the public sector, is looking for an experienced professional to manage the operational stability of their IT platforms and infrastructure. This role involves overseeing service delivery and managing external partners to ensure the continuity of critical technical services.

• Ensure the operational stability and performance of infrastructure platforms.
• Manage external vendors and managed service providers to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Monitor and enforce contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with technology partners.
• Apply ITIL best practices to streamline service management and problem follow-up.
• Lead infrastructure transition projects and coordinate complex technical integrations.
• Oversee the synergy between application maintenance and underlying infrastructure systems.

• You have 5+ years of experience as a service delivery manager.
• You bring 5+ years of technical expertise in ICT technologies and infrastructure platforms.
• You possess 3+ years of experience in managing external vendors and managed services.
• You have 3+ years of experience maintaining the operational stability of platforms and infrastructure.
• You're experienced with ITIL processes and SLA monitoring.
• You bring basic knowledge of security principles such as ISO27001 or NIS2.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• 5+ years experience in technical infrastructure roles covering network, server, cloud, and workplace.
• 3+ years experience in application management, monitoring, and database follow-up.
• 3+ years experience as a project manager leading infrastructure or transition projects.
• 3+ years experience working in Agile environments.
• Previous experience in the public sector or complex organizational environments.
