Senior Drone Project Manager – Operations & Regulatory Compliance

Our client, a prominent organization in the transportation infrastructure sector, is seeking an experienced professional to lead their drone competence center. This role focuses on the functional and technical evolution of drone solutions, ensuring robust integration with advanced security and monitoring platforms.

• Execute SORA and other comprehensive risk analyses to support large-scale drone operations.
• Define technical requirements for BVLOS flights, including mapping, photogrammetry, and structural infrastructure inspections.
• Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle from initial feasibility studies to final commissioning and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary stakeholders across connectivity, cybersecurity, and operational maintenance teams.
• Develop automated test scripts and integrate results into specialized monitoring and reporting systems.
• Ensure the quality of implemented solutions through custom test scenarios and rigorous documentation of anomalies.

• You possess 5+ years of experience in drone piloting including VLOS and BVLOS operations with a valid STS certification.
• You have 5+ years of experience as a drone pilot instructor.
• You bring 5+ years of experience integrating drone video streams into Milestone platforms.
• You have 2+ years of experience with drone regulations and SORA risk assessment methodologies.
• You possess 2+ years of experience in network engineering and monitoring tool integration.
• You have 2+ years of experience in vendor negotiation and drafting technical specifications for public procurement procedures.
• You have experience using SAP for reporting and asset management.
• You are analytical, proactive, and demonstrate strong solution-oriented problem-solving skills.
• You are fluent in French and Dutch with a professional level of English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with 4G or 5G connectivity solutions for remote drone operations.
• Knowledge of on-premise technical solution implementations.
