Test Automation Engineer – IBM MQ, HP ALM / OpenText AQM

Our client, a leading organization in the transport and infrastructure sector, is seeking a specialist to ensure the quality and performance of their core traffic management software. The project focuses on consolidating and distributing critical data to internal experts and international partners in the railway industry.

• Design comprehensive test scenarios based on business requirements, functional analyses, and technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for integration layers within a Git repository.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid detection of software regressions.
• Provide technical guidance to team members regarding test automation tools and perform code reviews of scripts.
• Generate and document detailed test reports across multiple environments from development to production.
• Collaborate actively within a Scrum team and participate in all agile ceremonies to ensure project continuity.

• 5+ years experience in software testing and test automation.
• 5+ years experience with ISTQB methodologies and Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL).
• 2+ years backend testing and integration experience using IBM MQ, XML, and XSD.
• 2+ years development experience with C#, .NET, and MSTest.
• 2+ years experience with test management tools such as HP ALM or OpenText AQM.
• 2+ years database experience using SQL for data validation.
• 2+ years experience with version control using Git.
• 2+ years working within an Agile or Scrum environment.
• You possess strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a proactive attitude.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch with B1 level in the other language and B2 level in English.
