Web Developer – PHP & JavaScript

Our client, a leading organization in the public safety sector, is seeking a professional to assist in the modernization of their data architecture. The role focuses on migrating legacy systems to an open environment to improve data accessibility for analytics and artificial intelligence initiatives. This position involves developing application components and web services within an innovative and agile framework.

• Perform technical analysis and design for data exchange services and REST APIs to ensure system integration.
• Develop robust application components using PHP and JavaScript to support architectural evolution.
• Modernize strategic solutions by integrating new functionalities related to AI and data analysis.
• Collaborate with development teams to define technical architecture and ensure secure, interoperable outcomes.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle within a DevOps and Agile environment.

• 3+ years of experience in backend and frontend development using PHP and JavaScript.
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing REST APIs and Web Services.
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
• 3+ years of experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT-Based Tokens.
• 3+ years of experience in Software Architecture and applying Design Principles and patterns.
• 3+ years of experience with Containerization and DevOps workflows, specifically using GitLab.
• 3+ years of experience implementing Security By Design and application security protocols.
• You are proactive, autonomous, and possess strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality.
• You are native in French or Dutch with passive knowledge of the other and have active knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

• 1+ years of experience with automated testing.
