Expert Java Developer – Java & Spring Boot

Our client, a prominent organization in the public sector, is looking for an expert developer to lead their technical team. This role focuses on the end-to-end development of robust applications while guiding and coaching a team of developers within an agile environment.

• Lead the development team and provide structural coaching to technical staff.
• Execute complex programming assignments including coding, testing, and debugging.
• Drive the technical development of Java-based applications and API integrations.
• Take a leading role within the Agile development methodology and process.
• Maintain high standards of code quality and application performance through rigorous testing.

• You have 8+ years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• You bring 8+ years of expertise in API integrations.
• You possess 5+ years of experience with Postgres for database management.
• You have 5+ years of frontend development experience with React and JavaScript.
• You're experienced with Atlassian Tools for project management and collaboration.
• You bring proven experience in a leading role within an Agile environment.
• You possess professional experience within the public sector or the waste management industry.
• You have strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level.
