Platform Engineer – Internal Developer Platform & Cloud Operations

Our client, a leading provider of business and HR services, is looking for a Platform Support Engineer to manage their internal developer ecosystem. This role focuses on ensuring platform reliability, implementing new features, and optimizing the developer experience through proactive support and technical evolution.

• Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and scalability of the internal development platform.
• Identify and define platform improvements to be implemented by the development team through proactive monitoring.
• Deploy and configure new features and services within the internal development platform ecosystem.
• Support development teams by implementing DevOps principles and streamlined processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents related to platform components, resources, and deployments.

• You possess 2+ years of professional experience with Azure cloud services.
• You have proven experience managing and maintaining Kubernetes environments.
• You bring solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and software development lifecycles.
• You're skilled in monitoring and observability to translate technical data into actionable product improvements.
• You possess a strong affinity for software development and technical problem-solving.
• You have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with infrastructure and product teams.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

• Possession of an Azure Administrator Associate certification.
• Familiarity with the Java Spring stack.
