Expert Program Manager – Cybersecurity & NIS2 Compliance

Our client, a prominent federal public institution, is looking for an experienced leader to drive their security maturity. The role involves steering the organization towards NIS2 Essentials compliance by managing a diverse portfolio of security and governance projects.

• Define and monitor the program governance, roadmap, and priorities for the NIS2 implementation.
• Coordinate multiple projects and workstreams, managing interdependencies and resource allocation.
• Monitor program progress, budget, risks, and quality standards to ensure timely delivery.
• Translate complex security and compliance issues into clear decision-making information for the steering committee.
• Guide organizational change and adoption processes to ensure sustainable security improvements.
• Collaborate with the ePMO on methodology, governance, and progress reporting.

• You possess 10+ years of experience in program and project management within complex environments.
• You bring 10+ years of expertise in Change Management and leading large-scale transformation programs.
• You have extensive knowledge of Project Management Methodologies and governance structures.
• You're experienced with NIS2 regulations and security compliance frameworks.
• You have experience managing projects related to Identity & Access Management (IAM), Security Monitoring, and Business Continuity.
• You possess conceptual knowledge of Endpoint Security, Network Security, Database Security, or Secure Software Development.
• You're proactive and solution-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with a working knowledge of the other and passive English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working within a federal public institution.
• Knowledge of Business Architecture, Application Architecture, and Technical Security Architecture.
