Expert Functional Analyst – Payroll & HR Software

Our client, a leading provider of human resources and payroll services, is looking for an expert-level functional analyst to support business-critical software projects. The role involves delivering high-quality functional analyses and ensuring that developed solutions align with complex legislative requirements and customer needs.

• Create detailed functional analyses for payroll projects and change requests in collaboration with business analysts.
• Estimate the effort and workload required for new or updated functionalities together with relevant stakeholders.
• Define comprehensive test scenarios and execute software validation against approved functional specifications.
• Contribute to the optimization of existing software solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Provide functional guidance and support to developers and application service desk teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate project and functional documentation to ensure system maintainability and knowledge sharing.

• 8+ years of experience in functional analysis within complex, business-critical software environments.
• Expertise in social legislation and payroll-related processes.
• Proven proficiency in testing & quality assurance methodologies, including test scenario definition and data preparation.
• Strong background in creating and maintaining detailed functional documentation.
• You possess excellent analytical skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to complex challenges.
• You are fluent in Dutch with professional proficiency in French and English.
