Functional Tester & Analyst – Asset Management Systems

Our client, a major player in the energy infrastructure sector, is seeking a Functional Tester & Analyst to support their digital field inspection and maintenance program. This role focuses on ensuring the end-to-end quality of software products integrated with asset management systems while evolving into a functional analysis role.

• Take charge of test preparations and execution for software products supporting field maintenance and inspections.
• Create, organize, and follow up on comprehensive test plans in close collaboration with project managers and business stakeholders.
• Prepare and execute manual test scenarios while identifying opportunities for developers to implement test automation.
• Manage non-functional, exception flow, and regression testing to ensure product stability and performance.
• Define acceptance criteria for User Acceptance Testing and act as the primary point of contact between key users and the product team.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories and functional documentation using UML and BPMN artifacts.

• You have professional experience in testing and quality methodologies such as TMap, STBox, or ISTQB.
• You possess technical proficiency in data and integration standards including UML, XML, JSON, and SQL.
• You bring expertise in testing mobile applications, including stability and stress testing.
• You're experienced with Agile development and documentation tools such as Azure DevOps, Sparx Enterprise Architect, and Confluence.
• You have the analytical background required to challenge customer needs and formalize derived acceptance criteria.
• You're a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and the ability to work according to architecture and security standards.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French with a good knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

• ISTQB certification.
• Knowledge of SAP PM (S/4HANA).
• Background knowledge of the energy sector or asset management domain.
