Our client is a leading organization seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their specialized Platform Team. This role focuses on empowering engineering teams by building the foundational infrastructure, automating workflows, and establishing standardized development paths to ensure frictionless software delivery.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Develop and maintain custom Spring Boot starters and auto-configurations to ensure seamless integration across microservices.
- Act as a consultant and mentor for product teams to help navigate complex architectural challenges.
- Create and maintain OpenRewrite recipes to automate library updates and eliminate security vulnerabilities.
- Design and implement robust patterns for asynchronous communication using Kafka and JMS.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to improve deployment speed and reliability.
- Leverage Kubernetes and Helm to build resilient, scalable environments.
- Maintain high code quality through pragmatic testing approaches and comprehensive documentation.
Vereisten
- You have 8+ years of experience in backend development with expert-level Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- You bring 8+ years of advanced knowledge of Maven and build automation processes.
- You possess 5+ years of experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and JMS.
- You have 5+ years of experience with cloud orchestration using Kubernetes and Helm.
- You bring 3+ years of experience designing CI/CD patterns with GitHub Actions.
- You're an expert in security protocols using OAuth and Spring Security.
- You have experience with OpenRewrite for automated refactoring and library maintenance.
- You possess a strong passion for Developer Experience, clean APIs, and technical documentation.
- You're proactive, solution-oriented, and focused on automating repetitive tasks.
- You are fluent in English.
