Data Engineer – SSIS & Reporting

Our client, a leading organization in the financial sector, is looking for a professional to join their BI team. This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing reporting solutions while supporting the transition to a modern cloud-based data platform.

• Support the BI team in daily operational activities to ensure continuity.
• Build, modify, and maintain reports and data visualization solutions.
• Analyze and process data flows derived from SSIS processes.
• Monitor the quality, accuracy, and performance of the existing reporting environment.
• Contribute to the improvement of data streams and reporting methodologies.
• Provide operational support within SAP Business Objects environments where relevant.

• 5+ years experience in data engineering with a focus on SSIS and MS SQL databases.
• 3+ years experience working with Power BI for data visualization.
• Experience developing data streams and ETL processes using Python, Java, or Scala.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing ETL architectures.
• Strong knowledge of data warehouse components including data integration, metadata, and reporting.
• Proactive and solution-oriented.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• 5+ years experience with SAP Business Objects.
• 3+ years experience within the financial sector.
• Willingness to learn and work with Microsoft Fabric.
