Our client is a key player in the European energy landscape, ensuring the reliability and sustainability of national electricity infrastructure. This role involves overseeing the IT landscape for the asset business domain to ensure it remains secure, future-proof, and aligned with strategic regulatory obligations.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Translate organizational capabilities into actionable IT roadmaps and detailed blueprints.
- Define domain-specific principles and ensure alignment with global architectural standards.
- Present architectural designs to review boards and formalize logic through Architectural Decision Records (ADRs).
- Conduct portfolio assessments to identify opportunities for application reuse and technical debt reduction.
- Perform trade-off analyses on cost, risk, and complexity to facilitate executive decision-making.
- Collaborate with security teams to embed resilience and compliance into critical infrastructure architectures.
Vereisten
- 8+ years of experience in IT architecture within the Energy & Utilities sector, specifically focusing on Asset Management.
- 8+ years of expertise in architecture frameworks and modeling using TOGAF and ArchiMate.
- 5+ years of experience with modern design practices such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event Storming, and Agile Architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in analytical evaluation methods including ATAM and Gartner TIME.
- Deep understanding of IT/OT integration, operational constraints, and safety-critical systems.
- Extensive experience in managing security, availability, and regulatory compliance within critical infrastructure.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate conversations between C-suite stakeholders and deep tech engineering teams.
- Collaborative leader capable of defending architectural positions and accepting accountability for domain-level decisions.
- You are fluent in English with fluent-level proficiency in either Dutch, French, or German.

- Knowledge of additional languages among Dutch, French, or German.
