Functional Analyst – Banking & Insurance

Our client, a prominent organization in the banking and insurance sector, is seeking a professional to oversee the functional design of complex information systems. The role involves performing detailed analysis and translating business needs into robust technical specifications while supporting the full development lifecycle.

• Create the concept and manage the planning for preliminary analysis and design phases.
• Perform functional analysis of information systems and deliver functional designs following pre-studies.
• Support changes and enhancements throughout the lifecycle from development to production.
• Recommend and implement strategic system enhancements to optimize performance.
• Develop new program requirements and specifications to address specific business needs.
• Analyze service requests to determine feasibility, technological changes, resource requirements, and time estimates.

• You have 5+ years of experience in the functional design of information systems within the banking or insurance sectors.
• You bring 3+ years of experience as a functional analyst in complex technical environments.
• You possess 2+ years of experience in software development with Java and Java SDK.
• You have experience working with Agile Methodologies.
• You possess knowledge of IT Security and Open Systems.
• You're proficient in using Jira and Confluence.
• You possess strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• You are a team player with clear and structured communication skills.
• You are fluent in English with active knowledge of Dutch.
