.NET Backend Developer – Azure Cloud Solutions

Our client, a leading insurance provider, is seeking a skilled professional to enhance backend services for their core applications. This role involves developing serverless solutions and implementing automated deployment pipelines within an agile framework to deliver high-quality software.

• Develop and maintain serverless applications using Azure Functions and Azure Container Apps.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform for infrastructure as code across multiple environments.
• Integrate external systems through SOAP and REST services while managing security via OAuth and Azure Key Vault.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes utilizing Cosmos DB and Redis Cache.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate functional specifications into technical solutions.
• Ensure high code quality through unit testing and Test-Driven Development practices.
• Provide third-line support and technical analysis for functional assignments.

• You possess 5+ years experience in backend development with C# and .NET.
• You bring 5+ years experience in designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions.
• You have extensive knowledge of SOAP and REST web services including XML, WSDL, and JSON.
• You're experienced with Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and Azure API Management.
• You bring experience with cloud-native storage such as Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, and Redis Cache.
• You possess strong proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• You have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Git.
• You're familiar with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• You have a solid background in unit testing and Test-Driven Development.
• You are fluent in English with very good knowledge of Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• AZ-204 – Azure Developer Associate certification.
• AZ-900 – Azure Fundamentals certification.
• Knowledge of relational database models and stored procedures.
