Power BI Expert – Global Financial Reporting

Our client, a leading organization in the biopharmaceutical sector, is seeking a specialist to accelerate the transition of their global financial reporting from legacy tools to a modern unified platform. The role focuses on reinforcing technical capabilities, coaching internal teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dashboards and reporting standards across the organization.

• Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards to ensure high performance and visual impact.
• Coach and upskill internal team members on Power BI best practices and modern dashboard design.
• Guide IT partners on data modeling logic and the structure of the semantic layer.
• Ensure alignment with global reporting standards and governance to maintain consistency.
• Support the harmonization and simplification of the global reporting landscape by migrating legacy systems.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications while collaborating with global stakeholders.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning reporting processes.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard design, performance optimization, and best practices.
• You possess experience collaborating with technical teams on data warehouse and semantic model definitions.
• You bring a solid understanding of logical data modeling concepts.
• You have a proven ability to coach and guide team members to improve their technical expertise.
• You're skilled in stakeholder management and bridging the gap between finance and digital technology departments.
• You're proactive and solution-oriented with strong influencing skills.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Background in financial reporting or controlling.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of SAP and Anaplan data environments.
• Ability to interact with various departments to validate dashboard UI/UX and aesthetics.

• Work regime: Full-time (80% also accepted)
