Functional Analyst – SAP Finance & S/4HANA

Our client, a leading organization in the retail sector, is looking for a Functional Analyst to act as the bridge between finance stakeholders and IT teams. The role involves analyzing financial processes, gathering requirements, and ensuring that IT solutions for accounting and budgeting meet business needs.

• Analyze financial processes and gather business requirements to ensure IT solutions align with organizational needs.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for technical teams.
• Coordinate with developers, integrators, and external partners to deliver robust financial systems.
• Oversee testing phases, including UAT, integration, and regression testing, to validate deliverables.
• Support financial processes such as accounts payable, budgeting, and order-to-cash.
• Improve operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• 3+ years experience with SAP FICO and S/4HANA.
• 3+ years working with SAP flows including Accounts Payable, Receivable, Budgeting, Procurement-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.
• 3+ years utilizing Power BI for reporting and SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with SRM systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Professional background within an accounting or financial setting.
• Previous experience working with our client within the past 5 years.
• You possess a Master’s degree or equivalent through professional experience.
• You are proactive, analytical, and possess strong stakeholder management skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch and/or French with at least passive knowledge of the other language.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with NFR & Goods.
• Knowledge of additional SAP Finance related modules.
• Familiarity with integration concepts like APIs and ETL.
• Understanding of security and compliance in financial systems.
