Senior Software Delivery Lead – HR & Payroll Solutions

Our client, a leading HR services group, is seeking a Senior Software Delivery Lead to manage the development and optimization of a modular payroll application. The role focuses on leading an agile team to ensure predictable delivery, high quality, and continuous improvement while guiding team members in their professional growth.

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of analysts, developers, and testers in a dynamic technical environment.
• Organize and safeguard agile processes to ensure efficient, transparent, and predictable team performance.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for project execution, including scope, progress, quality, budget, and risks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define needs, assess impact, and provide clear reporting.
• Coordinate incident and problem management processes to ensure structural solutions for underlying causes.
• Coach team members to support both their technical and personal development.

• You bring 8+ years of experience in Agile delivery and Scrum methodologies.
• You have 5+ years of experience in people management and team leadership.
• You possess strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and backend development with Java.
• You're experienced in project management, specifically regarding KPI tracking, budgeting, and result-oriented delivery.
• You have a structured and process-driven approach to software delivery and quality assurance.
• You bring the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You are fluent in Dutch.

• Experience with HR or payroll service software.
