Full Stack Developer – Mission-Critical Safety Platform

Our client, a leading organization in the public safety sector, is looking for a developer to build a scalable and performant platform within a mission-critical context. The role involves developing business-critical modules using modern engineering principles while taking ownership of technical quality and platform maturity.

• Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build performant and maintainable frontend interfaces using React.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases in production environments to ensure data integrity.
• Contribute to architectural designs, scalability improvements, and security protocols.
• Implement test automation and maintain high code quality standards.
• Coach fellow developers and drive improvements in the way-of-working within the Scrum team.

• You have 5+ years of experience in the development of web-based applications.
• You bring experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript.
• You possess experience in frontend development using React and JavaScript.
• You have knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• You are fluent in Dutch with C2 level proficiency.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and leadership roles.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in coaching and leading a development team.
