Data Engineer (SQL / Databricks)

Our client, a global leader in the automotive and logistics sector, is seeking an expert to drive data maturity within their central distribution hub. This role focuses on translating complex business challenges into technical analytical solutions to optimize international supply chain operations.

• Translate business requirements into automated reporting solutions and interactive dashboards.
• Lead technical analytics projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the modern data platform, coordinating needs with IT teams.
• Coach colleagues on data literacy and provide technical expertise to the department.
• Ensure high-quality data integration and availability for global distribution processes.
• Challenge existing assumptions to explore and implement innovative data-driven approaches.

• You have 3+ years of experience working with Power Platform, SQL, and Python.
• You possess a strong background in data analysis and technical analytical problem-solving.
• You bring experience working with Databricks for data processing and analysis.
• You're proactive, hands-on, and able to adapt quickly to a dynamic environment.
• You have a strong team spirit and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of VBA.
• Possession of a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
