Expert Application Manager – Field Operations & Incident Management

Our client, a major organization in the public sector, is undergoing a large-scale digital transformation to modernize operational processes and field reporting efficiency. This role involves coordinating a multidisciplinary development team focused on a specialized incident management application to ensure seamless alignment between technical delivery and business objectives.

• Coordinate and align technical teams to optimize operational efficiency and project delivery.
• Facilitate daily scrum meetings and act as the primary interface between developers and business stakeholders.
• Supervise the product backlog by creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories to maximize value.
• Manage incident, problem, and release processes to ensure high application stability and reliability.
• Define team work methodologies and implement quality safeguards for software development.
• Oversee the quality of documentation and lead communication efforts with management and end-users.
• Plan releases in collaboration with development and deployment units to ensure successful production updates.

• 8+ years in Application Management and Project Management.
• 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner.
• 8+ years in Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
• 3+ years in People Management and team leadership.
• 3+ years of experience within the Public Sector.
• 1+ years working with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• You are proactive, client-oriented, and resistant to stress.
• You possess strong negotiation skills and demonstrate high levels of discretion.
• You are native in Dutch and French with an active knowledge of English.
