Safety Coordinator Temporary & Mobile Construction Sites (Wallonia)

Our client, a key player in the energy infrastructure sector, is looking for a Safety Coordinator to oversee construction projects in Wallonia. This role involves acting as an expert advisor to ensure that safety, health, and environmental requirements are fully integrated into both the design and execution phases of industrial projects.

• Develop and update the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Plan during the design and study phases.
• Coordinate the implementation of prevention principles and safety protocols during project execution.
• Organize cooperation between contractors on-site and manage site access for authorized personnel.
• Maintain and transfer the coordination diary and the post-intervention file.
• Review risk analyses, work methods, and emergency measures in technical and tender documents.
• Identify and record non-compliances, providing detailed reporting supported by photo documentation.
• Advise project teams on legal safety obligations and support the internal prevention advisor.

• You bring a certification as a Safety Coordinator Level A or Level B for temporary or mobile construction sites.
• You have experience with safety management in industrial construction or infrastructure projects.
• You possess deep knowledge of Belgian safety legislation and SHE plan requirements.
• You're proficient in managing post-intervention files and maintaining coordination diaries.
• You are proactive and solution-oriented in your approach to site inspections and contractor management.
• You are fluent in French and English.
