Full Stack Developer – Java & Angular

Our client, a leading organization in the public education sector, is looking for a developer to enhance a critical digital access platform. The project focuses on developing a single-sign-on ecosystem that streamlines access to educational resources for a large user community.

• Lead the development team and provide technical coaching to junior and medior developers.
• Execute complex programming tasks including coding, testing, and debugging Java-based applications.
• Drive the adoption and implementation of Agile methodologies within the project team.
• Develop robust REST APIs and integrate them with modern frontend components.
• Optimize database performance and maintain data models within a PostgreSQL environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional needs into scalable technical solutions.

• 5+ years of backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of frontend development using Angular.
• 5+ years of experience with REST API design and implementation.
• 5+ years of experience working with SQL and PostgreSQL.
• 5+ years of experience with Jenkins for CI/CD processes.
• 5+ years of experience using Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• You possess experience in a leading role within an Agile environment.
• You have a proven track record in leading and coaching a development team.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience within the education or EdTech sector.
• Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies.
• Experience in the development or creation of data platforms.
• 3+ years of experience with JSON.
• Experience with comprehensive technical documentation.
