Platform Engineer – Internal Developer Platform & Kubernetes

Our client is seeking a professional to join their internal developer platform team to ensure stability, performance, and future-readiness. This role focuses on maintaining operational excellence and supporting internal development teams within a modern cloud-native environment.

• Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and scalability of the internal developer platform.
• Resolve platform-related issues and analyze incidents to implement effective bug fixes.
• Contribute to the ongoing product development and deployment of new platform features.
• Identify system bottlenecks and define structural improvements for the infrastructure.
• Guide and support internal development teams following established DevOps principles.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for business-critical platform outages alongside the broader engineering team.

• 3+ years of professional experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, including advanced troubleshooting and platform-level management.
• 3+ years of experience with DevOps and CI/CD delivery processes using GitHub Actions.
• You possess strong analytical skills and familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
• You're proactive and communicative with a drive to support others and defend platform principles.
• You are fluent in Dutch.
