Senior Sitecore Developer – .NET & Azure

Our client, a prominent organization in the transportation sector, is looking for a Senior Sitecore Developer to lead their web team's digital evolution. The role involves steering complex web platform projects and ensuring state-of-the-art, user-driven digital experiences through expert backend integration.

• Steer the development of intricate web platforms to ensure top-tier user experience and consistent architectural standards.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate web platforms for real-time data exchange and seamless operational flow.
• Convert complex UI/UX designs into high-quality web interfaces while setting technical benchmarks for the wider development team.
• Oversee platform performance evaluations and cross-browser compatibility to ensure high reliability and smooth operation.
• Lead the integration of modern trends in Sitecore and web development to foster an environment of ongoing evolution.
• Mentor junior developers and facilitate knowledge sharing to resolve technical challenges and improve team performance.

• You have 10+ years of hands-on experience in Sitecore development, including a track record of successful web platform deliveries and at least 2 version migrations.
• You possess 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET MVC 5 and demonstrable expertise in .NET 6, .NET 8, or .NET 9.
• You bring 5+ years of software development experience within the transportation or railway domain.
• You're experienced in frontend technologies including TypeScript, jQuery, AngularJS, React, and Knockout JS.
• You possess professional experience with Cloudflare, Azure Front Door, Azure Application Gateway, and F5 WAF or Load Balancers.
• You have expertise in DevOps practices, including environment tuning and maintenance for both intranet and cloud-based infrastructures.
• You're proficient in Agile methodologies, software design patterns, and modern application architecture.
• You are proactive in coaching team members and available for on-demand 24/7 production incident support.
• You are fluent in English with at least a C1 level of proficiency.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Hangfire for background task processing.
• Willingness to provide a portfolio of previous web development projects.
