Our client, a prominent organization in the public safety sector, is seeking a Web Developer to join a newly established innovation-focused team. The role involves the further development and expansion of digital applications to support staff with high-performance, user-friendly, and future-oriented solutions within a specialized platform.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Contribute to the full development cycle of web-based applications including design and integration.
- Develop and expand microservices and distributed applications within a specialized digital ecosystem.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary agile team to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Take responsibility for the performance, scalability, and maintainability of developed solutions.
- Perform coding, testing, and debugging tasks with a focus on high-quality code standards.
- Support the integration of innovative technologies and AI models into existing applications.
Vereisten
- 5+ years of experience in the development of web-based applications.
- Experience with backend development using Node.js and JavaScript.
- Experience with frontend development using React and CSS.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational database systems (RDMS).
- Experience with Microservices and distributed application architecture.
- Experience with RabbitMQ for messaging and integration.
- Experience with containerization using Docker.
- You are proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of taking technical responsibility for architectural decisions.
- You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level of proficiency.
Nice to Haves
- Experience leading a development team or coaching other developers.
- Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning models including LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA) or VLMs.
- Experience with Vector databases, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering.
- Knowledge of Elixir or Redis.
- Experience with Scrum and Agile development methodologies in a leading capacity.
