Expert Data Architect – Oracle & PostgreSQL Infrastructure

Our client, a leading organization in the transport and infrastructure sector, is seeking an Expert Data Architect. The role focuses on designing robust data architectures and managing complex database environments to support business-critical systems.

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support evolving business requirements.
• Establish and maintain data governance, quality standards, and architectural consistency.
• Optimize database performance through expert-level query tuning and execution plan analysis.
• Supervise the integration of data across legacy and modern systems.
• Manage complex archiving structures and validate data models for long-term sustainability.
• Define best practices and standards for data architecture and database development.

• You have 15+ years of experience in database development and administration with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB.
• You bring 15+ years of experience with PL/SQL and PL/pgSQL.
• You possess 15+ years of expertise in Oracle APEX development.
• You have 15+ years of experience in Linux environments and shell scripting.
• You bring 15+ years of experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, and Oracle Designer.
• You possess 15+ years of experience in datamodelling and archiving.
• You have 5+ years of experience with database migrations, XML, and technical code reviews.
• You bring 2+ years of Python experience for ETL and test automation with Selenium.
• You are professional, communicative, and show strong engagement for the duration of the project.
• You are fluent in French, Dutch, and English (C1-level).
