Expert Java Developer – Microservices & Digital Transformation

Our client, a major public administration organization, is executing a large-scale modernization program to transform legacy monolithic systems into a modern microservices architecture on Kubernetes. This role involves driving technical transformation through API-first and event-driven approaches to enhance agility and accelerate the delivery of value to end-users.

• Lead the transition from monolithic architectures to modern microservices hosted on Kubernetes.
• Develop and implement new functional features using API-first and event-driven design principles.
• Modernize legacy platforms to improve system scalability and technical flexibility.
• Collaborate within a Scrum environment to ensure high-quality software delivery and continuous improvement.
• Optimize user experiences by building responsive and evolutive digital platforms.
• Communicate technical concepts and provide knowledge transfer to team members.

• You have 8+ years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.
• You bring 8+ years of experience in frontend development with Angular.
• You possess 8+ years of expertise in designing and implementing REST APIs.
• You have 8+ years of experience working with DB2 database systems.
• You're experienced in managing application servers, specifically WebLogic.
• You have extensive knowledge of DevOps methodologies and ELK tools.
• You bring experience working with GIT and the Atlassian suite in a Linux and Windows environment.
• You possess advanced knowledge of Scrum methodologies.
• You are proactive and capable of communicating complex technical knowledge.
• You are fluent in English.
