Project Engineer Civil Works (Wallonia)

Our client is a key player in the Belgian and European energy transmission landscape. As Project Engineer Civil Works, you join the Engineering department and take technical ownership of civil infrastructure projects across high-voltage substations (36kV to 380kV). You work in a multidisciplinary team alongside Project Leaders and fellow engineers, covering the full project lifecycle from feasibility to closure. The role is based in Brussels with flexibility for telework after onboarding.

• Contribute to the technical elaboration of project scope and design
• Carry out technical studies during feasibility and detail phases
• Guide the design team during the detail study phase and ensure quality and scope alignment
• Act as the key liaison between the design team, technical experts, and the Project Leader
• Proactively identify the impact of new concepts on project operations and take corrective action
• Communicate and report on project progress

• Master's degree in engineering (civil or industrial) with a construction focus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent French, good understanding of Dutch
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of electricity grids is an advantage
• EU work authorisation or valid Belgian labour card and residence permit
