Quality Assurance Engineer – High-Voltage Equipment & Process Management

Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to strengthen their quality management framework. The role involves overseeing both internal and external quality assurance processes for high-voltage primary system equipment to ensure sustainable and reliable infrastructure.

• Develop and coordinate a comprehensive Quality Management framework including processes, tools, and guidelines.
• Participate in factory audits and review quality management systems for external high-voltage equipment suppliers.
• Create and maintain quality control plans and dashboards to monitor supplier factory and site activities.
• Manage technical non-conformities and facilitate action plans based on manufacturing and testing feedback.
• Map and archive internal business processes using methodologies like BPMN, SIPOC, and flowcharts.
• Organize and publish technical documentation within document management tools and asset databases.

• You have experience in quality management systems and supplier quality follow-up.
• You possess technical knowledge of high-voltage or primary system equipment.
• You bring experience in mapping business processes using BPMN, SIPOC, or flowcharts.
• You have experience working with document management systems or collaboration tools such as SharePoint.
• You have a technical or engineering background through education or equivalent experience.
• You're proactive, structured, and demonstrate an analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• You're willing to travel to installations within Belgium and to suppliers across Europe.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
• Experience with specific tools such as eDoc, HyperTree, or InfraRef.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications in quality management.

• Location: Brussels.
• Working model: Hybrid (2 days onsite).
