Senior Data Engineer – Azure Databricks & Python

Our client, a prominent organization in the healthcare sector, is seeking a specialist to develop a modern cloud-based data platform. This role focuses on building a single version of truth analytics solution by integrating diverse health-related data sources using advanced cloud technologies.

• Perform functional analysis of project-specific data requirements to align with technical architecture.
• Design and deploy a centralized data hub featuring CRUD functionalities and complex data transformations.
• Develop REST interfaces and connector services to facilitate seamless data exchange and integration.
• Participate in the development of a data validation engine to ensure high quality across external data sources.
• Conduct troubleshooting, technical documentation, and prototype reviews for end-user training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to ensure timely project delivery.

• You have 8+ years of experience in data engineering within the Microsoft BI stack, specifically with Visual Studio, SSIS, and SQL Server.
• You possess 5+ years of experience working with Azure Databricks and Python.
• You bring proven expertise in data functional analysis and Kimball dimensional modelling.
• You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field.
• You're proactive and solution-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and autonomy.
• You possess strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to project delivery.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with passive knowledge of English and the other national language.

Nice to Haves

• Experience developing REST APIs and connector services.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and data quality controls.
• Experience working within Agile project environments.
