2nd line Incident Analyst – Energy Market Solutions

Our client, a key organization in the energy sector, is looking for a specialist to manage 2nd line incident resolution within their message exchange infrastructure. The role focuses on performing deep-dive incident analysis and coordinating resolution efforts between technical vendors and market participants.

• Analyze 2nd line incidents within the message exchange service domain and specific functional areas.
• Coordinate technical incident resolution activities with external IT vendors and market parties.
• Facilitate recurring transaction hubs to prepare, coordinate, and track resolution progress.
• Investigate complex transaction processing issues while ensuring alignment with established frameworks.
• Perform data-driven analysis to identify root causes of service disruptions.
• Maintain technical communication with suppliers and operators regarding message exchange discrepancies.

• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst.
• 3+ years of experience as an Incident Solving Analyst or in a similar technical support function.
• 3+ years of experience with MS SQL for data querying and analysis.
• 3+ years of experience with MS Excel and VBA for technical reporting and automation.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of the energy market and message exchange domains like structure and rectification.
• You have proven experience with MIG standards, specifically MIG6 or MIG DGO.
• You bring practical experience with ITSM tools and ITIL processes, specifically in incident management.
• You have a Bachelor or Master degree.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French at a C1 level.

Nice to Haves

• Possession of an ITIL Foundation certificate.
• Experience working with defined Project Methodologies.
• Completion of Scrum Foundation training.

• Duration: 6 months (plus 12-month extension periods)
