Senior Business Analyst – Traffic & Logistics Solutions

Our client, a major player in the transportation infrastructure sector, is seeking a professional to support projects optimizing rail traffic within industrial port zones. The role focuses on analyzing stakeholder needs and translating them into functional and technical specifications for data-sharing platforms.

• Identify and document business requirements using diverse elicitation methodologies.
• Analyze existing processes and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop detailed functional specifications and technical requirements for development teams.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to align software solutions with business objectives.
• Design and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios to validate system functionality.
• Perform impact analyses to support evolving business requirements.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure operational continuity.

• 8+ years in business and functional analysis within Agile and Scrum ICT environments.
• 8+ years eliciting business requirements and defining functional specifications.
• 8+ years drafting User Stories and managing project documentation.
• 5+ years in process design and modeling using UPM and BPMN.
• Possess strong initiative, stress resistance, and a proactive team-oriented approach.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch at a C2 level with B2 level proficiency in English and the other national language (Dutch or French).

Nice to Haves

• Basic knowledge of development principles including OO, .NET, and Web Design.
• Experience drafting technical manuals, work instructions, and user guides.

• Location: Brussels with regular days in Antwerp.
• Working model: Onsite with regular travel requirements.
