Senior Infrastructure Project Manager – Integration & API Platforms

Our client, a prominent organization in the public sector, is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex IT initiatives. This role focuses on the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, specifically centering on integration services, platform-based architectures, and API management solutions.

• Lead complex infrastructure projects from initiation through delivery and closure, ensuring full alignment with business objectives.
• Manage project scope, budgets, and detailed schedules while coordinating with architects and technical leads.
• Coordinate with multiple internal delivery teams and external partners to ensure technically sound and compliant outcomes.
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues, implementing escalation and resolution strategies when required.
• Define non-functional requirements for the service delivery and support phases, including monitoring, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Oversee the design, consolidation, and lifecycle management of API Gateway and API Management solutions.

• You have 10+ years of expertise in Project Management for large-scale IT initiatives.
• You possess 5+ years of experience managing complex, multi-stream projects using structured planning and tracking tools.
• You bring 5+ years of experience specifically within the IT Infrastructure domain.
• You have 3+ years of experience managing Integration Services and platform architectures.
• You possess a proven track record in public sector tendering procedures and contractual governance.
• You're experienced in service delivery and support requirements, including monitoring, SLAs, and KPIs.
• You have 15+ years of total professional experience within the IT sector.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French (minimum C1 level for one and B2 level for the other) with at least B2 level in English.

Nice to Haves

• Previous experience working within the public transport environment.
• Specific expertise in the migration and consolidation of API Gateway platforms.

• Start date: 04/05/2026.
• Duration: project until 31/12/2027.
• Work regime: Full-time.
• Location: Brussels.
• Working model: Hybrid (2 days onsite, with Thursday as a fixed day).
