Senior DevOps Project Leader – Ansible/AWX

Our client, a leading organization in the transport sector, is looking for a Senior DevOps Project Leader to manage business-critical applications. The role entails coordinating a DevOps team and multiple Scrum units to ensure the continuous operation and evolution of real-time monitoring systems.

• Manage the full lifecycle of project activities from planning to execution.
• Gather business requirements for functional analysis and coordinate technical implementation.
• Oversee project scope, budget, deadlines, risk management, and quality control.
• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings to drive sustainable technical solutions.
• Report project status to management and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation every eight weeks.

• You have 8+ years of experience leading DevOps projects and driving Agile software development.
• You bring 8+ years of automation and configuration management experience using Ansible and AWX.
• You possess 8+ years of expertise in establishing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab.
• You're experienced with 8+ years of project coordination and tracking using JIRA Agile and Confluence.
• You have 5+ years of technical experience with container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in application monitoring and logging using the ELK stack.
• You possess 5+ years of knowledge in High Availability, DRP, and messaging systems like Tibco RDV.
• You're familiar with 5+ years of security and identity frameworks including NIS2, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0.
• You have 5+ years of experience coaching and mentoring technical team members.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with A2 level in the other language and C1 level in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Hazelcast and Databases.
• Possession of Professional Scrum Master or DevOps Leader certifications.
• Certified as an Elasticsearch Engineer, Zabbix User, or Zabbix Specialist.
