Expert Ops Transition Manager – Infrastructure & Managed Services

Our client, a major organization in the transportation sector, is entering a significant renewal phase of its managed services contract. The project requires a senior professional to lead the technical post-transition phase and orchestrate the migration of services across cloud, on-premises, and network environments. This role ensures operational stability and alignment with a large-scale transformation program through effective governance and stakeholder coordination.

• Lead technical post-transition activities across cloud, on-premises, and network service towers.
• Orchestrate migration workflows between internal teams and external service providers to ensure alignment with contractual commitments.
• Implement governance structures for post-transition activities and act as the central coordination point for operations.
• Liaise between transformation leadership, service owners, and external vendors to facilitate communication and decision-making.
• Monitor service stability, performance, and SLA adherence while mitigating operational risks and gaps.
• Review and align technical documentation with NIS2 requirements to ensure readiness for handover.
• Provide regular status reports and track KPIs, milestones, and deliverables for governance bodies.

• You have 15+ years of professional experience in IT environments.
• You possess 10+ years of experience in Transition Management, Service Management, or similar senior operational roles.
• You bring 10+ years of experience managing complex workstreams using structured plans and tracking tools.
• You possess 5+ years of experience coordinating transitions specifically between outsourcing partners.
• You have 5+ years of experience in the operations domain covering infrastructure and managed services.
• You have experience ensuring compliance with NIS2 requirements and documentation standards.
• You're a strong communicator with proven stakeholder management skills in complex environments.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French (at least one at C1 level and the other at B2 level) with a B2 level of English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with specific monitoring and observability tools used in large-scale infrastructure environments.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications in Cloud Services or ITIL.
