Senior Network Architect – Hybrid Cloud & Datacenter Fabrics

Our client is seeking an experienced professional to design a resilient, cloud-connected datacenter network within a brownfield implementation. The role focuses on establishing a target architecture and a three-year roadmap to support mission-critical workloads, including AI clusters and hybrid cloud integration.

• Assess the current state of network environments including underlay, overlay, SAN, and edge infrastructure.
• Develop reference architectures for VMware, Oracle, and Azure on-premise environments.
• Lead technology selection and high-level roadmaps for fabrics, AI interconnects, and SAN evolution.
• Implement security-by-design through Zero Trust guidelines, micro-segmentation, and encryption.
• Engineer performance and capacity for high-throughput and low-latency requirements.
• Design resilience and disaster recovery strategies including active-active datacenters and stretched clusters.
• Ensure interoperability between NSX, Oracle RAC, and hybrid cloud connectivity solutions.

• You possess 8+ years of professional technical IT experience.
• You bring 5+ years of experience with network protocols including BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, RoCEv2, and MPLS.
• You have 1+ years of experience in datacenter network architecture and Cisco ACI multi-Fabric.
• You possess 1+ years of experience with virtualization and software-defined networking using VMware ESX and NSX-T.
• You bring 1+ years of experience with Azure Cloud and on-premise hybrid solutions like Azure Stack HCI or Azure Arc.
• You have 1+ years of experience specialized in SAN networking.
