Project Manager & Functional Analyst – Real-time Traffic Systems

Our client, a major organization in the infrastructure and transport sector, is seeking a professional to manage and analyze critical real-time traffic monitoring applications. This role involves bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution within a large-scale Agile environment.

• Gather and translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Coordinate the full development lifecycle, overseeing analysis, development, and testing phases.
• Manage project scope, deadlines, budget, risks, and quality standards for mission-critical systems.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and workshops as a Scrum Master while supporting backlog management.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide continuous support to development teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and manage communication and issue resolution.
• Participate in a periodic 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure the availability of real-time systems.

• You possess a Master’s degree in IT or a related field.
• You have 5+ years of experience in software development roles including Project Manager, Scrum Master, and Functional Analyst.
• You bring 5+ years of experience with backend development using Java 17+ and Eclipse RCP.
• You have 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms specifically Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• You possess 5+ years of experience with integration and messaging via Tibco RDV.
• You have 5+ years of experience with data management using various databases and Hazelcast.
• You’re experienced with Agile tooling including JIRA Agile, Confluence, and Xray.
• You bring 5+ years of experience with quality and security tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, Nessus, and Qualys.
• You possess knowledge of NIS cybersecurity guidelines and have experience mentoring junior colleagues.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French at C2 level with C1 level proficiency in English.

Nice to Haves

• Certification in PRINCE2 or PMBOK.
• Possession of Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certificates.
