.NET Developer – Integration & Web Services

Our client, a prominent organization in the financial services and insurance sector, is seeking a developer to join their engineering team. The role focuses on designing and implementing object-oriented applications with a strong emphasis on service-oriented architecture and system integration.

• Develop high-quality software solutions using C# and the .NET framework.
• Support analysts and designers in translating functional specifications into technical solutions.
• Design and implement relational database models using T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions.
• Build and host REST and SOAP services within a Microsoft environment using WCF and IIS.
• Document technical components and provide second-line support to ensure system reliability.
• Optimize development processes and collaborate within an Agile and DevOps culture.

• You have 3+ years of experience in backend development using C# and .NET.
• You bring 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• You possess experience building REST and SOAP services with WCF, XML, XSD, and WSDL.
• You're experienced in hosting web services and applications in IIS 10.
• You have experience with Azure DevOps and version control using GIT.
• You bring knowledge of SOA principles, unit testing, and object-oriented design.
• You possess experience working in Agile environments.
• You're assertive, communicative, and solution-oriented.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with migration to Azure Cloud.
• Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Blazor.
• Experience with test automation using SoapUI.
• Basic knowledge of creating stubs, drivers, and collaborating with offshore teams.

• Start date: April 2026
