Business Analyst – Process Optimization & Data Management

Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is looking for a Business Analyst to support the digital transformation of data-driven processes. The role involves optimizing information exchange and translating complex policy objectives into functional IT solutions within a multi-stakeholder environment.

• Execute comprehensive business analyses, including the definition of as-is and to-be process flows.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and streamline cross-departmental data exchange.
• Draft detailed user stories and establish clear acceptance criteria for technical teams.
• Monitor external IT suppliers and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) procedures.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and working groups to harmonize methodologies and requirements.
• Ensure thorough project documentation is maintained and accessible via collaboration tools.

• You have 5+ years of experience in business analysis and process modeling using BPMN.
• You bring 3+ years of experience with PRINCE2 and Agile project management methodologies.
• You're proficient with 1+ years of experience in Jira and Confluence.
• You possess experience in functional analysis and drafting user stories.
• You have experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality control processes.
• You bring experience managing external IT vendors and their functional deliverables.
• You possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• You're proactive, analytical, and strong in stakeholder management.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with a good understanding of English and the other national language.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with complex data flows and multi-party data exchange projects.
• Previous experience within a government or public sector environment.
• Affinity with legal, judicial, or regulatory domains.
