Process Automation Specialist – Pharmaceutical AI & Analytical Development

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical sector, is looking for a specialist to bridge the gap between business processes and AI-powered UI tools. This role focuses on optimizing analytical development workflows through the application of applied AI and automation within a regulated GxP environment.

• Map and analyze current-state pharmaceutical workflows to identify high-value automation opportunities.
• Design and implement AI-driven solutions using low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate.
• Conduct automation feasibility assessments and ROI scoring to prioritize digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop and iterate on complex prompt engineering strategies for LLMs and generative AI models.
• Ensure all automated systems comply with GxP, ALCOA+ principles, and CSV/CSA validation requirements.
• Translate technical AI concepts into domain-specific language to support user adoption and change management.
• Collaborate with lab teams to integrate automation with LIMS and ELN systems.

• You have 5+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• You bring 3+ years of expertise in process analysis, workflow mapping, and digital transformation in regulated environments.
• You possess hands-on experience with AI and automation platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere.
• You have experience with LLMs, generative AI models, and prompt engineering.
• You bring knowledge of GxP environments, ALCOA+ principles, and FDA/EMA regulatory expectations.
• You possess an understanding of CSV/CSA concepts for automated system validation.
• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• You're proactive, innovative, and able to interface effectively between business and IT teams.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in analytical method development or lab instrument data flows.
• Familiarity with lab systems such as LIMS, ELN, Empower, or Chromeleon.
• Certifications in RPA, AI, or data analytics.
