Security Architect – IT, OT & Critical Infrastructure

Our client, a leading player in the national infrastructure and transport sector, is looking for a Security Architect to translate strategic directions into robust technical solutions. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance and security effectiveness across integrated IT, OT, and cloud environments to guarantee business continuity.

• Design and formalize the target security architecture by integrating Security by Design and Privacy by Design requirements.
• Define security architecture standards, models, and principles in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
• Perform technical and architectural risk assessments on infrastructures, business applications, and industrial systems.
• Integrate key security domains including ICAM, cryptography, and cloud solutions into a coherent modular vision.
• Monitor threat landscapes and technology trends to propose continuous improvements to the security posture.
• Guide technical decisions and maintain architectural consistency through participation in security governance committees.

• You have 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or risk assessment within IT, OT, or IoT environments.
• You bring an active CISSP certification.
• You possess a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Security, or IT Risk Management.
• You are proactive and bring strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to work autonomously.
• You are fluent in English with C1 level in either French or Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• In-depth knowledge of frameworks such as CyFun, ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443, NIS2, and GDPR.
• Technical experience with SAP integration and inter-application data flows.
• Experience conducting Business Impact Analysis, Threat modeling, and Gap analysis.
• Expertise in AI security and resilience planning.
• Possession of additional certifications such as CCSP, CISM, CISA, CGEIT, or SABSA.
