Project Manager Industrial CAPEX

Our client, a leading player in the process and materials technology industry, is seeking an expert for large-scale industrial investments. The project involves full owner-side accountability for complex CAPEX investments, covering the entire lifecycle from pre-study to commissioning and handover.

• Lead end-to-end industrial CAPEX projects from concept and feasibility through to commissioning and handover.
• Steer external engineering firms and EPCM partners by challenging designs, estimates, and schedules to ensure commitment.
• Define and manage project scope, business cases, and investment requests, including full budget accountability and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain integrated baseline planning in MS Project, including shutdown and tie-in windows.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across process, mechanical, piping, electrical, automation, and civil engineering disciplines.
• Manage risks and deviations on scope, budget, and schedule with timely escalation and proposed solutions.
• Drive a strong safety culture during engineering and execution phases within an operating plant environment.

• You have a Master’s degree in engineering or an equivalent level through experience.
• You bring 15+ years of experience in industrial engineering, including 10+ years as an owner-side Project Manager.
• You have successfully completed at least 3 CAPEX projects of €5+ million in the process industry within the last decade.
• You possess experience steering EPCM or EPC contractors and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• You're proficient in planning and project ownership using MS Project.
• You have a VCA-VOL certification and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
