Senior Infrastructure Architect – Cloud & Connectivity

Our client, a major operator in the transport and aviation sector, is looking for an experienced professional to shape their technological landscape. This role involves translating business strategy into a robust infrastructure architecture that ensures scalability and future-readiness across diverse technological domains.

• Maintain and evolve technological standards to meet the organization's evolving needs while facilitating interaction between key stakeholders.
• Prepare comprehensive decision-making documentation for architecture governance bodies to ensure informed strategic choices.
• Develop and implement reference architectures that provide actionable standards for project teams and procurement processes.
• Provide architectural guidance within project teams by delivering key technology deliverables and evaluating vendor proposals.
• Define the long-term infrastructure roadmap by aligning functional digital requirements with technical possibilities and risk management.
• Synthesize complex technical dossiers into clear, visual representations and strategic directions for both executive and technical audiences.

• You have 8+ years of experience in ICT architecture and infrastructure design.
• You possess 3+ years of specialized experience in at least two domains such as Cloud, Connectivity, Cybersecurity, or IoT.
• You have 2+ years of experience in roles requiring stakeholder facilitation and cross-team collaboration.
• You bring a Master’s degree in a technical field such as ICT or Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• You possess a strong strategic mindset with the ability to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical implementation.
• You have proven skills in translating complex business models into Architecture Patterns and system requirements.
• You're able to create visual representations of architectural designs and long-term roadmaps.
• You are proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented in structuring complex proposals.
• You are fluent in English with at least passive knowledge of Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working within critical infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with I-OT and Telecom infrastructure.
• Willingness to quickly absorb domain-specific knowledge related to large-scale transport hubs.
