Our client, a leading life sciences organization, is seeking an Interim VAT/GST Reporting Manager to oversee compliance and accounting activities across multiple international registrations. This role focuses on ensuring accurate tax reporting and leading audits while driving process improvements and integration within global financial operations.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Oversee VAT compliance, accounting, and audit activities for multiple legal entities and international registrations.
- Review and approve VAT/GST returns, including related filings such as Intrastat and EC Sales Listings.
- Perform VAT sweeping and centralization of accounts while reconciling tax-related financial records.
- Manage annual compliance activities including import VAT reviews and specific directive filings.
- Lead and coordinate tax audits while acting as the primary point of contact for external partners.
- Execute SOX controls and identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.
Vereisten
- You have relevant experience with VAT close processes, accounting, and monthly tax reconciliations.
- You possess experience working with SAP ERP systems.
- You bring familiarity with tax technology tools and automation for compliance.
- You're experienced in collaborating within multinational and culturally diverse teams.
- You are fluent in English.
