Java Developer – Application Migration & Modernization

Our client, a prominent organization in the social security sector, is looking for a Java Developer to evolve their application landscape. The project focuses on adapting and migrating legacy applications to modern server environments to ensure system stability and performance.

• Adapt existing applications running on legacy servers for migration to modern runtime environments.
• Execute technical migrations from legacy application servers to modern alternatives like Payara.
• Develop and maintain backend services using modern Java frameworks and data persistence layers.
• Optimize database interactions and queries within relational database systems.
• Collaborate with the team to modernize the current application landscape and ensure production stability.

• 7+ years of experience in backend development using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• 3+ years of experience with GWT for web application development.
• 3+ years of experience using Gradle for build automation and management.
• Experience with application server migration from GlassFish to Payara.
• 1+ years of experience working with DB2 and PostgreSQL relational database systems.
• You are active in French with a passive knowledge of Dutch and English.
